How does the future of electric mobility look and feel like?
Mitigate 'Range Anxiety' by designing services and maps tailored to electric mobility. Develop a visual language for a new progressive electric mobility.
UX Research
Research on electric mobility and user needs and opportunities
for full electric vehicles.
Experience Concept
Introduced the vision of an immersive digital space that conveys the feeling of a hyper-intelligent electric vehicle and emphasizes the power of electric mobility.
Visual Design
Electric mobility get its very own progressive visual language. Electric blue, rose gold and white express electric intelligence
and power.
Interaction Design
Clean mobility translates into clean fluid user interfaces. We reduced hard keys in favor of intuitive touch gestures. Dynamic information density caters to the user’s information needs at
the very moment while decluttering the interfaces. An intelligent map centric user interface mitigates range anxiety and turns the user’s ride into a journey taking into account the whole itinerary from discovering a destination to taking care of parking and charging as well as last mile navigation.
Displaying more information isn't necessarily always better. However, when getting close to your destination or when looking for information beyond just street level it might make sense to show more level of detail in the emediate surrounding of your current position or the target area of interest.
Electric Mobility
Power-Up roads, Inductive Charging at Traffic Lights, Charging Stations — once the car is in need of charging, the map contextually shows charging opportunities along the route or close to the destination.
Activity
Location real-time meta data shows trending locations that are relevant to the user, based on context, preferences and needs.
Beneath the Surface
3D Maps also show relevant location information beneath the surface and provide addional transit information.
Conversational UI featuring an electric mobility
assistant that supports the user with optimizing routes
and finding charging.
Mitigating range anxiety by showing the user at a glance how far the current battery charge get the user.
Location meta data pulled from Foursquare —
popularity and activity based on reviews and check-ins.
